The launch of the new IBC Advanced Business Management course
What will this course cover?
This course has been developed for the IBC and accredited by The Chartered Management Institute (CMI). This bespoke course, built for barristers’ clerks, is intended to accelerate career development to higher levels within chambers. This programme has been designed for maximum flexibility and interaction with the course facilitators and other delegates. Delivery of the programme is a blend of in-person, eLearning, project based and one-to-one development.
Suitability of the course
This course is highly valuable for all levels, especially for those who are focussed on becoming a senior clerk or team leader. We suggest that you read the syllabus and decide for yourself if it’s relevant to your stage of personal development. PME will accept applicants of all levels as the content of the course is relevant to all clerks.
The course is accredited by The Chartered Management Institute. Delegates will become members of the CMI as a part of their enrolment, which gives them access to vast member benefits.

Costs £ 2950 for IBC members or £3150 for non-members
Dates: Enrolment is March/April each year for a 1st of May start (although bookings can be made sooner).
