The Role:

As a Practice Manager in Family Law, you will play an important role in 3PB’s 80-strong barrister Family Law Group’s success. You will oversee the day-to-day operations of our Family Law Team in London, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in case management.
Your responsibilities will include:

  • Case management: Oversee the progression of Family Law cases, ensuring timely and high-quality legal services for their clients and managing barristers’ diaries and commitments
  • Fees negotiation and agreement: Agree and negotiate fees for individual barristers and manage any discussions on these with clients, including assessing and correctly billing fees in publicly funded work.
  • Promotion and marketing: Assist senior clerking colleagues to help build family team success in and around London
  • Lex diary recording: ensure all cases and nature of funding are properly recorded, obtaining correct details of parties, assisted persons and any LA certificate numbers.
  • •Client relations: Maintain positive client relationships, addressing their needs and concerns, and encouraging members of chambers to return paperwork expeditiously.

Qualifications:

  • A strong background in Family Law clerking, with a minimum of 3 years diary experience
  • Good organisational and communication abilities
  • A commitment to delivering exceptional legal services to clients
