2nd Junior Clerk (Employment, Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence)

St Philips Chambers is a leading multi-disciplinary set and we are looking to recruit a 2nd Junior Clerk to join our specialist Employment, Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence groups. This is an exciting opportunity to join a modern and dynamic set, recently awarded ‘Set Outside London of the Year’ at the Legal 500 Bar Awards.

Reporting to the Senior Clerk, this role requires working closely with the Senior Clerk and 1st Junior Clerk on a daily basis, with responsibility for the administration of the team diaries, fair allocation of work, agreeing fees, billing, along with involvement with business development and marketing activity.

The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills with a positive and solutions-focussed approach. They will be self-motivated, conscientious, hard working with a keen eye for detail and the ability to work effectively as part of a team, whilst also demonstrating their own initiative. This role is well suited to an individual with a few years clerking experience, who is looking for the opportunity to take on more responsibility and broaden their experience.
