Chambers is now seeking an Assistant Fees Clerk to join their forward thinking and friendly team.

Reporting to the Senior Fees Clerks and Senior Clerk, you will assist with the fee billing and general fees clerk duties, including managing the fees email inbox, the submission of fees claims and uploading the relevant supporting documents. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking for a rewarding role with outstanding long-term prospects and progression.  Full training will be provided if necessary.

Your duties will include:

  • Together with the Senior Fees Clerks, assist with the management of a systematic approach to the billing and collection of Barristers’ fees.
  • Assisting Senior Fees Clerks with fee collection processes.
  • Develop and maintain professional working relationships with instructing solicitors.
  • Identify specific areas of aged debt and tackle in a focussed and strategic way.
  • Maintain accurate information about the progress of all cases after fee notes have been issued, ensuring information is recorded accurately and in a timely fashion.
  • Production of various reports through LEX and Excel.
