Employee’s mental and physical health is being effected by increasing number of hours we work but we are still reluctant to discuss our mental wellbeing with colleagues.

This one hour seminar will look at ways of dealing with stress and difficult situations you may encounter in your everyday working environment. It will also give guidance on what to look out for in yourself and others – whether it is a member or staff or a barrister.

Our speaker, Dr Anna Colton, is a chartered clinical psychologist. She has experience of dealing with early intervention and prevention in mental health, particularly in the work place. She has experience with working in sets of chambers on wellbeing and mental health and delivers talks on wellbeing policy, Mental Health First Aid training and how to set up structures for effective wellbeing within chambers. She is married to a barrister so understands life at the bar / in the clerks room.
