Brainpower at work

Following on from last year’s Workplace Culture survey, the LPMA and IBC are working collaboratively to put on a series of joint events to address some of the issues identified in the survey.  In the first of these joint sessions, we are delighted to invite members of the IBC and LPMA to an event on Psychological Safety.

Although neuroscience is still in its early years, it is providing significant insights into people, teams and organisations. It brings to light what enables us to be focused, to learn and perform at our best.  This session will explore what neuroscience is and why it is relevant to chambers and each of us individually.   The aim of the session is to help attendees better understand what helps us to create a workplace where people can thrive and work at their best, with practical tips to make that happen.

We are delighted to welcome Hilary Scarlett, who is an international speaker, consultant and author on change management and neuroscience at Scarlett & Grey.

For those unable to make the 26 June event, we will be running a repeat session, virtually, after the summer.
